Mr Johnson Chan and Mr Charles Choi, Vice-Presidents of the Association, previously attended the 50th Hong Kong Shippers’ Council Golden Jubilee Dinner, joining industry leaders and distinguished guests to mark this significant milestone. Established in 1976, the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the interests of Hong Kong’s importers, exporters, traders, and manufacturers in maritime, land, and air cargo transportation.
Held on 11 September 2026, the dinner brought together industry representatives from various regions to explore future strategic directions for global trade and supply chains. Keynote addresses were delivered by the Guest-of-Honour speakers, Mr. Algernon Yau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, and Professor Raymond Ma, Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The event provided a valuable platform for industry exchange, fostering cross-regional connections, building consensus, and opening up new avenues for development.
