On 1 September, President Mr Richard Cheng attended various events under “Hong Kong Fashion Week,” including the opening ceremony of the “Wear’s HK” pop-up store, marking the official launch of emerging local fashion design talent at Harbour City. The event brings together 20 top Hong Kong fashion designer brands and, from today until 14 September, will roll out successively across six landmark shopping malls citywide. By combining physical exploration with instant retail, it allows the public to “see, try, wear, and buy” runway fashion on the spot.

On the same day, the President also attended the flagship event and opening programme of the 3rd “Hong Kong Fashion Week”—VIRTUOSE: The Art of Haute Couture 2026. Held successfully on 1 September at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, the event transformed the museum into a threshold where heritage and the present quietly met, gathering four visionary couture designers from four distinct cultural horizons
