On 20 July, President Mr Richard Cheng, in his capacity as a member of the Textile and Garment sector’s Election Committee, was invited to attend the joint consultation session on the “First Five-Year Plan for Hong Kong” and the “2026 Policy Address,” organized by the Office of the Financial Secretary. The session provided an opportunity for the industry to directly convey its views to the government. The discussion focused on industrial upgrading, talent, and sustainable development, exploring how to strengthen Hong Kong’s role in global trade and supply chains through policy and market linkages.
